As one of the earliest email clients available in the store, MailDroid was designed with the aim of restoring usability to email. Based on our familiarity with blackberry email, we sought to create a similar experience. Failing to find anything comparable, we decided to develop our own email client. So, what sets MailDroid apart from other email clients? Firstly, it is a pure email client, meaning that it does not rely on a backend server to access your emails. Instead, you can directly establish connections with your POP, IMAP, and Exchange servers. Secondly, MailDroid is both powerful and user-friendly. If you don't wish to use features such as PGP or sMIME encryption, you can easily hide them. You also have the freedom to choose between the old navigation style or the new navigation drawer. Additionally, you can snooze or schedule your emails for delayed sending. Thirdly, we have implemented oAuth2 authentication for major email providers like Gmail, Yahoo Mail, AOL Mail, and Outlook. This means that MailDroid only acquires a token from these providers and doesn't gain access to your password. This feature is particularly relevant for users who have recently encountered issues with Gmail and Yahoo Mail. We have worked closely with all these providers to ensure maximum security for our users.

Another noteworthy aspect of MailDroid is its integration with essential third-party email services such as SaneBox. Lastly, we place great emphasis on supporting our users. We respond promptly to your inquiries and concerns via email.

We have built this mail client based on feedback from our users, prioritizing their needs and desires. As a result, our agenda focuses solely on incorporating features that users request. MailDroid automatically supports numerous email providers, and for those that it cannot configure automatically, manual setup options are available. We have implemented a broad range of features, sometimes even forgetting the extent of what we have added. Here is a brief list of notable features:

3. Ability to download attachments to your device using any file explorer or the built-in file manager.

7. Online search capability (for IMAP servers) and offline search capability (for both IMAP and POP3 servers).
